Job Title: Production Assistant (Multimedia)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creatively driven Production Assistant with strong skills in graphic design, photography, videography, and editing. The ideal candidate is a hands-on content creator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.), and DSLR or mirrorless cameras or mobile phones. This is a dynamic role supporting the full production lifecycle from pre-production to post-production. This position is for a candidate living in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation Design branded content, social media graphics, event flyers, presentations, and other visual materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Assist with planning, shooting, and editing photo and video content for digital platforms, events, and campaigns. Attend events to cover shooting.
• Production Support Set up and break down production equipment on shoot days. Assist with lighting, audio, and camera operations as needed during shoots. Organize and maintain production gear and digital assets.
• Post-Production Edit raw footage into compelling videos for various platforms (social media, YouTube, websites). Retouch photos and optimize visual assets for web and print use.
•Administrative & Team Support Maintain content libraries and file management systems. Support the production team with scheduling, scripting, and creative brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in graphic design and multimedia content creation.
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator). • Skilled in using DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic production equipment.
• Ability to shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos independently.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines, take direction, and work collaboratively.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects).
• Familiarity with content management and social media platforms.
• Background in marketing, communications, film, or related field.
